Lacey Chantel Keenan is a writer with a vivid imagination. If you want to travel into the mind of madness or experience the strength of the human spirit, she can take you there. Her powerful stories are designed to engage, enlighten, and shock you. She creates fiction works that explore dark aspects of human behavior. Her abilities to imagine what lies beyond the darkness, and take you on a journey to find the light is inlaid in her various works. Her desires to explore the duality of human nature lead her to spin tales filled with intrigue and drama.

 

Lacey holds a MFA  in Creative Writing, BFA Creative Writing for Entertainment, and MA in New Media Journalism degrees from Full Sail University. Lacey also holds a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Colorado Technical University. Awards include a Course Director’s Award in Art History from Full Sail University, Course Director's Award in Public Relations & Reputation Management from Colorado Tech, and she is a Salutatorian Graduate of the Master of Arts in Journalism degree program in 2016. Winner of the Editor’s Choice Award from the International Library of Poetry for her poem “Sweet Dreams” published in the hardback anthology, Timeless Voices. She is also, a member of the Horror Writers Association.

 

Lacey is in love with the idea that words are alive and is a dedicated learner of the writing craft. She never misses an opportunity to test her wit and sarcasm, even when she should. Her favorite hobby is riding her mountain bike across the rugged terrain of the Ozark Mountains. Lacey was born on New Year’s Eve and named after a popular song entitled, “Chantilly Lace.” She has traveled across the United States meeting characters and living stories. Her strange life experiences give Lacey a unique perspective that sets her writing apart from the rest.
